Cameron Diaz

A render of Cameron Diaz in her memorable debut role in The Mask, way back in 1994... This was one of those early CGI showcases which made a big impression on me at the time and got me into pursuing a career in 3D art (albeit in the games industry rather than films.)

This one was modelled in Zbrush initially then my trusty ol' Mudbox for the fine tuning/look dev. I started with the base mesh from 3D Scan store and sculpted on top of that (for the head and teeth) Pore details are from a combination of displacement maps from Texturing XYZ and projected detail from a 3D Scanstore HD mesh. Eyes were done with a tweaked version of the Flipped Normals eye kit

The scene is put together in Maya, using Xgen for hair, Arnold for rendering, etc.
